Emergency Float Caregivers (EFCs)

Emergency Float Caregivers receive 24 hours notice of their scheduled shift and may work with a client for a prescribed length of time. Emergency float/caregivers can either act as a PCA and or Homemaker, depending on the client’s need. Staff is paid at a higher rate when working as an Emergency Float Caregiver.
